We are delighted that you are our client and have entrusted the health of your home to Housekeeping Associates. We know that with flu season and the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, some of you might be thinking about Housekeeping Associates more than usual. First, and most important, our entire staff is committed to consistently using processes to ensure that your home is protected each and every time we clean your home. Housekeeping Associates is committed to following the advice of the CDC and our local Health Department.
We would suggest you purchase a disinfectant cleaner like Purell Brand Foodservice Surface Sanitizer. We do not endorse any particular products, but this product is the most powerful surface cleaner that meets all of our standards for cleaning, household safety, multi-surface compatibility and 99.9% total disinfecting. If you have a similar product that meets these guidelines, we would be delighted to use it as well.
We always maintain safe house cleaning best practices. During this time, we have added a new high-touch disinfecting procedure where we use disinfectant cleaning agents on all door knobs, light switches, door frames, handrails, appliance control panels and other high touch areas in the home.
Protecting you, your family and Housekeeping Associates staff is our number one priority. We ask for your help in keeping all of our homes healthy. If there are any symptoms of illness for any person in your home please give us a call so that we can postpone or reschedule your cleaning.
Symptoms include:
- Fever.
- Cough, sneezing or shortness of breath.
If you are healthy, there’s no need to cancel your regularly scheduled cleaning!

I seem to remember you saying something about a rescheduling in April? I would like to hold off until the stay home is lifted, maybe sometime in May? Right now I’ve been working from home unitil my company says to come back. Maybe the first cleaning should be a deep cleaning?
