BASIC CLEAN (Recurring or One-Time Cleaning)
Our house cleaners in East Lansing offer basic cleaning services, which include:
Basic & Deep Cleaning
- Dust ceiling fans and light fixtures
- Remove cobwebs
- Dust blinds and window sills
- Dust moldings and woodwork
- Dust baseboards
- Dust lamps and lampshades
- Dust pictures and decorative items
- Dust and polish furniture; vacuum if necessary
- Clean top of refrigerator
- Clean exterior of appliances; interior of microwave
- Wash stovetop and backsplashes
- Scrub and disinfect all sinks
- Clean mirrors with glass cleaner
- Clean tub/shower and tiles
- Clean all bathroom counters and fixtures
- Empty wastebaskets
- Make beds (including master and one additional bed)
- Vacuum stairs; dust if wooden
- Vacuum and/or mop floors
- Vacuum all carpeted areas
It is presumed that the home will be in order and somewhat picked up to facilitate heavy cleaning.
DEEP CLEAN (First Time, One-Time, or Special Request Cleaning)
Our professional deep cleaning services in East Lansing include the basic house cleaning mentioned above as well as the services mentioned below:
- Wash ceiling fan blades
- Clean light fixtures in place (not removed)
- Vacuum or wash blinds and shutters, dust and wash mini-blinds
- Wipe or wash moldings, woodwork, and window sills
- Clean baseboards without moving furniture
- Dust or vacuum lampshades and lamps
- Wipe pictures and decorative items
- Polish furniture including fronts, sides, and legs
- Scrub stovetop and drip pans
- Clean cabinet fronts
- Wash doors
- Clean light switch plates
- Wash countertops and backsplashes
- Clean mirrors thoroughly
- Double scrub tub/shower tiles if there’s buildup
- Empty, wash, and reline wastebaskets
- Make all beds, including master and additional beds
- Vacuum stairs and wash if wooden
- Vacuum and/or mop floors, including closets
- Vacuum carpet edges to remove debris and pet hair
*Our cleaners do not climb higher than a basic two-step ladder. Items that sit higher than this will be dusted with an extension duster.
The Fine Print:
• We cannot move furniture, but we will try to reach any visible places either by hand or with an extension duster. Cleaners are not allowed to step higher than a 2 step stepstool.
• Some homes have at least one chandelier or vaulted ceiling fan that we cannot reach by hand. We do offer chandelier cleaning as part of our window cleaning services.
• We cannot guarantee the results of mini-blind cleaning. Excessive build up may require an additional charge.
• Please allow for some dust resettlement after we leave; we try to limit the dust in the air but cannot prevent this entirely.
• Cleaning is by appointment only. If we are unable to gain access to the home or are turned away at the time of cleaning, there is a $50 service fee.
• We do not provide laundry services.
